My New Hobby

I’ve taken up knitting as a distraction, and I have become completely obsessed! I’m no longer obsessed with writing however, so I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
Here is my third project ever, a scarf for my mother in law.
And here is my 4th project, A hat for ???
And finally a shawl for Mel.
Oh, my word. When you “start” something, you jump right in. Scarf and shawl are beautiful. I will send you some link to my favorite knitting blogs (and crochet). Nice job!
Those look like pretty complicated patterns - are you a real beginner?
I am, I seem to have inherited some of my grandmother’s talents. I’ve been knitting less than 6 months.
