Why Do I Bother?

The problem with IE [tag]scrolling[/tag] slowly and skipping was definately caused by the [tag]transparent image[/tag] that I was using as a [tag]background[/tag] for the posts and sidebars. Eliminating those images and the fixed background image seemed to have resolved the issue for now. If anyone knows why IE doesn’t know how to handle this properly, feel free to leave a comment here for me. Thanks for being patient, and look for more fine tuning on this layout in the next few weeks.
