High Traffic Trend Continues
Author: JeffreyI am amazed at the increase of [tag]traffic[/tag] to this site with nothing more than the addition of regular [tag]technorati[/tag] [tag]tags[/tag]. Yesterday’s traffic total was 78% above the average Thursday in January.
How many other tricks am I missing?

I don’t know. I’ve noticed a jump in traffic on my site as well, but I’ve also been commenting more elsewhere and doing BoB and stuff.
Of course, xtrastats is all screwed up and I can’t view my counter stats to see where things are coming from.
Bastards.

Man, I click through twice from Technorati and your traffic jumps 78%–sweet!

The only thing is, I want to figure out a way to get the visitors to become involved and leave more comments not just increase my stats! Besides coming up with something insightful to say everyday, not sure how you can get more people to post. But, I guess I am only blogging for my own self anyway.

Koz, I think you are right on with your insight there. Without interesting and insightful posts, all the traffic in the world won’t get you comments or repeat visitors. Not sure what you meant by only blogging for yourself, but if you are referring to my post from December 17th you know that I agree to a certain degree. I blog for myself, but it is always nice to have the feedback and validation of your peers.
