Exercise Is For Fat People
Mel and I made it to the gym this morning, that’s twice this week so far and I promised to go again tomorrow. Exercise is a wonderful thing, at least that’s what I’m told. I don’t know why I hate it so much. Hopefully I will grow to love the gym as much as my computer, but it doesn’t seem likely. If only I could figure out how to blog while I’m using the elliptical machine.
I would love to be in shape again. Well, in a more appealing shape anyway. It’s not that I’m fat at 175, I’m just “loose”. It’s not as bad as it was before we were married, though. I’ve lost about 20 pounds since then. I could stand to lose about 10-15 more.
I took one of those questionaires before we were married that tells you what your biological age is (and then attempts to sell you vitamins or something at the end) and it told me I was about 44. I was 35 at the time. Just out of curiosity I took the same test again this month and I’m 37.7 at age 39. Mel has been good for me. Not to mention that I have quit smoking since that time as well.
I’ll post some photos of me all greased up as soon as I have a six pack to show off. Or as soon as I have a six pack and someone greases me up and takes pictures while I’m passed out.
